Server replays and how to play them.
As you may know, and if not, you know from now on, all servers are under 24/7 cctv surveillance, aka replays, that allows us, you, them, and basically anyone interested, to be able to download, and even watch server recordings. Just in case of some not-so justified ban, maybe donator abusing donator features, or some silly filthy cheater, who was spoiling players fun, while admins were busy doing other, not server related stuff, like living their lives or some other irrelevant things. But where can I find it, and how do I use it?
So, all recorded demos can be found there: https://dema.tawerna.tf/
All demos are kept on the server for 14 day duration (incl. weekends!).
On TRADE|4fun server, new demos are being recorded every one hour, just for sake of convenience in looking for interesing moment that happened, so there's no need to watch 12h long replay. In the case of other servers, new demo starts recording at the beginning of a new map, and it lasts the whole map itself. All demos from previous days are stored in directories with specific dates. Current day recordings can be found in the main directory (older files are packed in a .bz2 archive, you know, saving space). Except files, date and time of demo creation can be seen next to them, for totally no reason.
How to replay them?
● 1. Download a demo you want to watch
● 2. Downloaded file (extract the archive if it was already compressed to .bz2) place in your game directory (steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf)
● 2.2. For your convenience, rename the file e.g. to "demo" (.dem file extension must be kept)
● 3. Open in-game console (~)* and type:
By default there's no replay interface allowing you to do the replay stuff, so type this in console:

This square box (or rectangle, depends on your preference) will allow you to pause, slow down, fast forward (can't rewind unfortunately) or jump to a specific "tick"(pretend it's a frame) by typing it's value.
